Spirit Airlines, an ultra-low-cost carrier based in Miramar, Florida, operates an all-Airbus A320 family fleet, identifiable by its yellow livery. Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport functions primarily as a Delta Air Lines hub but accommodates several budget carriers on domestic routes. Ground crews use conveyor belt loaders to move checked bags between the tarmac and an aircraft's forward cargo hold. An A320's cargo hold typically accommodates around 900 cubic feet of luggage and freight, split between forward and aft compartments.
