All Food Alcohol and Money Removed
A notice posted on the window of a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis states that all food, alcohol, and money have been removed from the premises. Photographed in March 2020, the sign documents how businesses responded to the early COVID-19 shutdowns by closing dining rooms and securing inventory and cash. The message at the bottom—“Good luck everyone! We will miss you & see you again soon.”—adds a dated record of the uncertainty facing local establishments at that stage of the pandemic.
