“All Food, Alcohol & Money Removed” Sign in a Minneapolis Restaurant Window
Restaurant window notice stating food, alcohol, and money have been removed from the premises during COVID-19 shutdowns.
The sign appeared in the window of a downtown Minneapolis restaurant during the early COVID-19 shutdowns of March 2020. Minnesota's stay-at-home order, issued that month, forced bars and restaurants to close their dining rooms, leaving many owners to clear out perishable food, alcohol, and cash registers before locking up. The handwritten note ends with a message to customers: "Good luck everyone! We will miss you & see you again soon."
