Market Street Power Plant on Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans

Market Street Power Plant on Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans is a former electric generating station built in the early 20th century. The facility supplied power to the city before closing and later becoming an abandoned industrial property. Its large masonry walls and arched windows are characteristic of the plant’s original industrial architecture.
