This concrete grain elevator complex stands in Omaha, Nebraska. Grain elevators of this cylindrical silo design were commonly built to store and transfer bulk grain such as wheat and corn for rail shipment. The connected cluster of silos and elevated headhouse allowed grain to be moved between storage bins via conveyor systems. The structure is no longer in active operation.
