Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct Art Installation: Make a Joyful Noise

Make a Joyful Noise at Police Station
An art installation, "Make a Joyful Noise," is displayed on the fencing surrounding the Minneapolis Police Third Precinct. The precinct was heavily damaged during the civil unrest that followed the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The installation, which includes hubcaps and buckets hung from the fence, was created in the aftermath of the precinct's destruction. A second banner reads "Housing," suggesting a connection between the protests and calls for affordable housing.
