George Floyd Square: Twin Cities Police Easily Startled Sign

A "Warning Twin Cities Police Easily Startled" sign is displayed at the intersection of 39th Street and Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis, a location that became known as George Floyd Square. This area was occupied by protesters and activists for an extended period following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The sign, a piece of protest art, humorously critiques perceived police overreactions and behavior during the unrest and subsequent demonstrations in the Twin Cities. It reflects the complex and often tense relationship between the community and law enforcement in the aftermath of Floyd's death.
