The Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct burns in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on May 28, 2020, as people gather outside the building during protests after the death of George Floyd. Flames engulf the station after officers withdrew from the site earlier that night. The fire at the precinct became one of the most widely recognized moments of the protests that spread across Minneapolis and other cities in the days following Floyd’s killing.
