Tesla Takedown: Minneapolis

Tesla Takedown protests at Tesla showroom in Golden Valley, Minneapolis, 2025

Tesla ShowroomGolden Valley

The Tesla Takedown protests began on February 15, 2025 with a single protester
outside the Tesla showroom in Golden Valley, Minnesota. What started as one person’s demonstration has since grown
into a weekly event, with dozens of participants calling out Elon Musk, DOGE, and
the Trump Administration for their actions and influence over social, economic, and environmental policy.

Each Saturday, demonstrators line the sidewalk along Wayzata Boulevard holding signs demanding accountability,
transparency, and responsible leadership in both government and technology. Supporters have joined from across
the Twin Cities, connecting the protest to a larger nationwide movement against corporate power and political corruption.

Now in its sixth consecutive week, the Tesla Takedown has become one of Minnesota’s most visible
ongoing protests in 2025 — a symbolic stand for ethics, democracy, and environmental justice in an era of political uncertainty.
