The Seven Points Parking Ramp, located on Lake Street in Minneapolis's Uptown neighborhood, serves as a primary parking facility for the area. In June 2021, this location became a site of national attention when Winston Smith was killed by law enforcement officers at the top of the ramp. The incident occurred during a period of heightened unrest following the murder of George Floyd, and the site has since become a somber landmark associated with that period of protest and police accountability activism in Minneapolis.
