Thousands gathered for a No Kings rally in Downtown Minneapolis. The rally comes less than a week after federal agents executed a search warrant at U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington DC home. The search, which follows years of increasingly racist attacks by the President, has been referred to by the Department of Justice as part of an “ongoing federal criminal investigation.”

Speakers included former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak (pictured), Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, and community leaders such as former mayoral candidate DeWayne Davis. The rally, which did not march, ended with Sounds Of Blackness who closed their set with Hold On (Change is coming).
