August 2, 2008 — Judas Priest formed in Birmingham, England, in 1969, growing through the following decade into one of heavy metal's defining acts. Vocalist Rob Halford's leather-and-studs stage attire, introduced on the 1978 Killing Machine tour, became a genre template still referenced by later metal acts. Albums such as British Steel (1980) and Painkiller (1990) built the band's reputation for twin-guitar riffing, a sound shaped by guitarists K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton before Richie Faulkner later joined the lineup. This performance took place at Myth Nightclub in Maplewood, Minnesota, a venue that opened in 2005 with a capacity of roughly 2,500 and has since hosted touring acts across multiple genres.

August 2, 2008 — Judas Priest played the Myth nightclub in Maplewood, Minnesota, a concert venue that opened in 2004 with a capacity of roughly 3,000. The English band formed in Birmingham in 1969 and helped define the sound of heavy metal through albums like "British Steel" and "Screaming for Vengeance." Frontman Rob Halford, known for his leather-and-studs stage wardrobe, rejoined the group in 2003 after a decade-long absence. Guitarists K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton anchored the band's twin-lead-guitar attack for much of its history.
