Ice Cube 2023 Rock Fest

Ice Cube brought West Coast hip-hop to Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin on July 13, 2023, performing alongside longtime collaborator WC at the annual outdoor music festival held in the small Chippewa County village.

Rock Fest draws tens of thousands of attendees each summer to a rural fairgrounds site, booking a broad mix of rock and metal headliners alongside occasional hip-hop acts. Ice Cube and WC have performed together for decades, their partnership rooted in the Westside Connection group they formed in the 1990s alongside Mack 10. The Cadott set drew on that shared catalog as well as material from Ice Cube's solo career, which stretches back to his years as a founding member of N.W.A.
