Saraswati Singh, a candidate for Hennepin County Attorney, attended a public safety forum at George Floyd Square. The event, titled "Community Conversation - Let's talk about public safety," brought together candidates and the interim Chief of Police to discuss community concerns. George Floyd Square has been a significant site of public gathering and activism since the murder of George Floyd in May 2020, serving as a focal point for discussions on justice and public safety in Minneapolis.
