Carlos Davis kneels at a makeshift memorial in Milwaukee for Samuel Sharpe Jr., who was killed by Columbus Police officers. The incident occurred during the 2024 Republican National Convention, which was held in Milwaukee. Police stated that five officers, present for the convention, shot Sharpe after witnessing an altercation where he refused to drop a knife. The memorial includes candles, bottles, and signs, one of which reads "Homes + Mental Health Support Not Bullets!"
