Rest In Power George Floyd graffiti
A memorial tribute to George Floyd is displayed in the window of a business on Chicago Avenue in South Minneapolis. The messages "Rest In Power" and "George Floyd" were written on the glass following Floyd's murder by Minneapolis police officers on May 25, 2020, near this location. The display became a focal point during the subsequent protests and uprisings that drew national attention to issues of racial injustice and police brutality.
