Protesters marched through Downtown Minneapolis today in a protest supported by a large list of unions and community groups. They made stops outside Target and the Federal Courthouse where they ask for Target to sign the Democracy Pledge and demanded charges against all Anti-ICE protesters be dropped. Speakers shared stories of the resistance and the importance of the unions in protecting workers in Minnesota and the attacks on journalists over the last 6 years in Minneapolis.
