O'Donovan's Irish Pub occupies a corner storefront on First Avenue North in downtown Minneapolis, a few blocks from the First Avenue nightclub and the Warehouse District entertainment strip. The pub opened in 2004, and much of its interior — including the bar itself — was built in Ireland, then shipped and reassembled on site. It's part of a small local chain that also includes O'Donovan's locations elsewhere in the Twin Cities, though this Washington Avenue-area spot is the original.
