Strip mall being restored
Strip mall being restored.

This image presents a strip mall situated at Nicollet Avenue and Lake Street in Minneapolis, documented after sustaining damage during the civil unrest of May 2020. Retailers including Office Depot and Dollar Tree are visible, with some storefronts showing signs of repair or temporary boarding. The unrest followed the May 25, 2020 murder of George Floyd, resulting in widespread protests and property damage throughout the city. Temporary protective sheeting and construction containers occupy portions of the parking lot, reflecting ongoing recovery efforts for these commercial properties.
