Lowry Avenue Bridge Lit in Ukrainian Colors
Lowry Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis illuminated in yellow and blue at sunset in support of Ukraine.
The Lowry Avenue Bridge crosses the Mississippi River, linking Minneapolis's Camden and Northeast neighborhoods. The current span opened in 2012, replacing an earlier bridge that closed in 2008 after a barge struck and damaged one of its piers. The bridge lit up blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine in 2022.
