Memorialize The Movement boards at Phelp Park
Memorialize The Movement exhibited a collection of protest art boards at Phelps Park in Minneapolis. These boards were originally created by community members and artists to cover storefronts during the 2020 Minneapolis Uprising, which followed the murder of George Floyd. The organization preserved these boards and have occasionally displayed them. This public display coincided with the 5th anniversary of George Floyd's murder, forming part of the "Rise and Remember" commemoration events.
