Macao Beach in La Altagracia Province, Dominican Republic, stretches along the Punta Cana coast with surf breaking onto a broad sandy shoreline. Located on the region’s northeastern coast, Macao is one of the few publicly accessible beaches in an area dominated by private resort frontage. Its open Atlantic exposure produces regular waves that have made the beach a known local surfing spot.
