Grilling out at Rise and Remember 2021
A community barbecue, "Rise and Remember 2021," was held at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis on the anniversary of George Floyd's murder. The event brought together residents for a gathering that included food preparation, as seen with the large smoker in the foreground. George Floyd Square, formerly the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for protests and community organizing following Floyd's death in May 2020.
