Winter Steam Over Green Bay Packaging’s Fox River Mill

Green Bay Packaging's recycled paper mill sits on the Fox River in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The company completed the $500 million facility in 2021, replacing a containerboard mill that had operated on the site for more than seven decades. The new mill was built to use recycled fiber as its primary raw material while cutting water and energy use compared to the plant it replaced. Green Bay Packaging is an employee-owned company that has operated in the city since 1933.
