Green Bay Packaging Mill on the Fox River

Green Bay Packaging facility in Wisconsin
The Green Bay Packaging mill, a $500 million facility completed in 2021, stands on the Fox River in Wisconsin. This advanced recycled paper mill replaced a 72-year-old structure and is designed for reduced water and energy consumption while increasing production. Plumes of steam rise from the mill into the winter night, reflecting on the frozen river and mingling with the silhouettes of trees along the bank.
