Garbage cans on fire the day after election in Uptown Minneapolis
Garbage cans are ablaze on Lake Street in Uptown Minneapolis, the day following the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. The fires occurred amidst unrest and protests that followed the election, and in the wake of the murder of George Floyd earlier that year. Uptown Minneapolis, a commercial and cultural hub, experienced significant damage and disruption during this period of civil unrest.
