Protesters gathered on the steps of Minneapolis City Hall to protest the police shooting death of Amir Locke. A large banner reading "FREY LIED" was displayed, referencing Mayor Jacob Frey and his previous statements on banning the use of no knock warrants. Demonstrators held signs with "JUSTICE for Amir Locke" and presented ethics complaints against the mayor to the city attorney's office. The event occurred following the February 2, 2022, shooting of Locke by Minneapolis Police officers during a no-knock warrant execution.
