“Crime Victims Unite” Sign Outside Government Center Rally

Crime victims and their families gathered outside the Hennepin County Government Center for a rally called "Rally for Justice," organized to protest charging decisions made under County Attorney Mary Moriarty, who took office in January 2023. Speakers at similar demonstrations have criticized the office for declining to file charges or for offering plea agreements in violent crime cases.
