Catholic Charities Minneapolis: George Floyd Signs

Posters displayed in the window of Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis reflect the widespread sentiment following the murder of George Floyd. One poster reads "I CAN'T BREATHE," a direct reference to Floyd's final words and the circumstances of his death. Another poster states, "IF YOU WANT PEACE WORK FOR JUSTICE," urging action and systemic change. These signs appeared during the period of unrest in Minneapolis in 2020, a time of significant public outcry and protest against racial injustice and police brutality.
