BMW US Manufacturing Plant, Greer, North Carolina
The BMW US Manufacturing Plant in Greer, North Carolina, is the largest BMW plant in the world by volume. Opened in 1994, it was BMW's first wholly-owned manufacturing facility in the United States. The plant produces a significant number of BMW vehicles, including models for global export. Its expansive complex represents a major investment in American automotive manufacturing and has become a key economic driver for the region.
