Stacks of bagged coffee are stored at the La Voz Que Clama en el Desierto cooperative in San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. San Juan La Laguna, on the south shore of Lake Atitlán, is known for small-scale coffee production, and cooperatives there collect, process, and market beans grown in the surrounding highlands. The burlap sacks shown here are part of the storage and distribution system used before export or delivery to roasters and buyers.
