Autumn Alley and Recycling Bins in Uptown Minneapolis

A narrow residential alley in Uptown Minneapolis, lined with city-issued recycling and trash bins outside detached garages. The City of Minneapolis operates one of the nation’s oldest organized alley waste collection systems, dating back to the early 20th century when service routes were first formalized for the city’s grid of north-south residential blocks.
