Abandoned Building at the Barber-Colman Factory Complex in Rockford

This building was part of the Barber-Colman Company complex in Rockford, Illinois, a manufacturer founded in 1894 that made textile machinery, aircraft parts, and heating and cooling controls. Much of the sprawling factory campus closed in stages over the late 20th century as production shifted elsewhere, leaving many of its structures vacant.
