Judas Priest Live at Myth Nightclub, Maplewood, Minnesota

Judas Priest formed in Birmingham, England, in 1969, growing through the following decade into one of heavy metal's defining acts. Vocalist Rob Halford's leather-and-studs stage attire, introduced on the 1978 Killing Machine tour, became a genre template still referenced by later metal acts. Albums such as British Steel (1980) and Painkiller (1990) built the band's reputation for twin-guitar riffing, a sound shaped by guitarists K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton before Richie Faulkner later joined the lineup. This performance took place at Myth Nightclub in Maplewood, Minnesota, a venue that opened in 2005 with a capacity of roughly 2,500 and has since hosted touring acts across multiple genres.
