West Lake Street Station in Minneapolis is shown during pre-opening work on Metro Transit's Green Line Extension, with a safety banner warning that light-rail testing is underway. The station is part of the Southwest LRT project, an extension of the Green Line that will connect Minneapolis with St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Eden Prairie. The train line is set to begin running in 2027.
