Midtown Greenway, Minneapolis: Overpass and Graffiti

Midtown Greenway bike path in Minneapolis passes under an overpass and alongside buildings decorated with graffiti art.
The Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis is a 5.5-mile multi-use trail developed on a former railroad corridor established by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad in the late 19th century. Opened in phases between 2001 and 2006, it serves as a critical transportation and recreation artery connecting neighborhoods in south Minneapolis. The overpass in the image carries vehicular traffic over the trail, while the adjacent buildings are decorated with graffiti art, reflecting the trail's integration into the urban environment.
