Minneapolis Protesters March on Inauguration Day

On Inauguration Day, January 20, 2021, approximately 100 protesters marched through Minneapolis. The march began at South High School and proceeded to the 3rd Precinct police station. Demonstrators voiced demands for President Biden to reverse Trump-era environmental policies and called for community control of the police. The march took place on Lake Street, a major thoroughfare in South Minneapolis that has been a site of significant activism and community organizing.
