Lake Street Minneapolis Target Mural: Resilience and Renewal

This mural adorns the exterior of the Target store on Lake Street in Minneapolis, located across from the third precinct. Commissioned as part of the store's reopening plan after the 2020 Minneapolis Uprising, the artwork was co-created by seven local artists. The mural visually interprets themes of "rooted, change, resilience, healing, growth, renewal and together," reflecting the community's experiences and aspirations.
