Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying in Green Bay.
As I Lay Dying, the metalcore band formed in San Diego in 2000, built its reputation on albums like "Frail Words Collapse" (2003) and "An Ocean Between Us" (2007), the latter earning a Grammy nomination. Tim Lambesis fronted the group through this era, touring heavily behind a sound that mixed hardcore breakdowns with melodic death-metal riffing. The band would continue recording and touring until Lambesis's 2013 arrest halted its momentum, with As I Lay Dying eventually resuming activity years later.
