The Prospect Park Water Tower, commonly known as the Witches Hat for its distinctive green conical roof, overlooks downtown Minneapolis and the Mississippi River valley. Built in 1913, the tower served as a water storage and distribution facility for the surrounding neighborhood. The tower remains a recognizable landmark in the Prospect Park area, offering views across the city's industrial and commercial districts.
