Students at St. Paul schools walked out and marched to the Minnesota Governor's Mansion in St. Paul to demand justice for Amir Locke, who was killed by Minneapolis police. The protest also called for the resignation of Minneapolis Police Chief Amelia Huffman and Mayor Jacob Frey. Signs displayed messages such as "Black Lives Matter," "Abolish No More Warrants," and "9 Seconds," referencing the circumstances of Locke's death. Amir Locke was killed earlier in the month by Minneapolis Police officers during a no knock warrant at a Downtown Minneapolis apartment building.
