4th St Saloon to close after 37 years
4th St Saloon, the longtime bar on W Broadway in North Minneapois held a farewell part tonight. The bar says they’ll close for good after 37 years next Sunday.

On November 2nd, 2023, 3 years 5 months after the Minneapolis police 3rd precinct was burned in the days after George Floyd’s murder, City Council has voted 8-5 to approve a replacement site. Now called a “Community Safety Center”, the plan is to rebuild a half mile away at 2633 Minnehaha Av.
