Metro Transit Bus Garage, Nicollet Avenue, South Minneapolis

This bus garage sits along Nicollet Avenue near 31st Street in South Minneapolis, one of several facilities Metro Transit uses to store and service its fleet overnight. Metro Transit operates the bus and light rail system for the Twin Cities metro area under the Metropolitan Council. Buses parked here are rotated out each morning to cover routes across Minneapolis and St. Paul, then return for fueling, cleaning, and mechanical checks. The agency's fleet includes standard 40-foot buses as well as articulated coaches for high-ridership routes.
