Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil at Target Center, Minneapolis

Cristina Scabbia fronts Lacuna Coil, the Milan-based gothic metal band she co-founded in 1996 with Andrea Ferro, with whom she still shares lead vocal duties. This performance took place at Target Center in downtown Minneapolis, a 19,000-seat arena that opened in 1990 and serves as the home of the NBA's Timberwolves and WNBA's Lynx. The date corresponds with the Music As A Weapon IV tour, a package show that paired Lacuna Coil with Disturbed and other hard rock acts across North American arenas in 2009. Lacuna Coil's mix of Scabbia's clean vocals and Ferro's growled delivery has made the band one of the best-known acts in the gothic metal genre since its breakthrough album "Comalies" in 2002.
