The notice states that store staff reject racial injustice and that all are welcome, placing the retailer among businesses that publicly aligned themselves with racial-equity protests after the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May 2020. Made about a year later, the posting shows how such statements remained part of storefront messaging in the city in May 2021.
