Located in Bluffdale, the 1.5 million square foot facility is officially known as the “Intelligence Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative Data Center”. Reports have estimated the data center has capacity to hold 3–12 exabytes, which is 3-12 billion gigabytes. The NSA says it’s to “support the Intelligence Community's efforts to monitor, strengthen and protect the nation”.
