Mexico City Trains

Photographs of Mexico City Metro operations, stations and Line 1 rolling stock

This set features photographs of Mexico City Metro stations, platforms and rolling stock across multiple lines. Images include Pantitlan Station, a major interchange for Lines 1, 5, 9 and A, showing platforms, signage and passenger movement. Other photos show an orange Line 1 train running alongside the Viaducto elevated highway and elevated track segments. The Metro opened in 1969 and uses rubber-tired trains on routes that address the city's seismic and urban design requirements.
