Overgrowth encroaches on the grounds of a former United States Post Office in South Minneapolis. The building was significantly damaged during civil unrest following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The unrest led to widespread destruction and looting in parts of the city, with this post office becoming one of many structures affected. The presence of graffiti on the fence and the overgrowth suggest a period of abandonment and neglect since the incident.
