Metro Transit stencil art on a sidewalk in Minneapolis’s North Loop neighborhood shows a red heart with a white “T” above the words “IN THIS TOGETHER.” The marking appears outside a Metro Transit facility and identifies the region’s public transportation operator. Made in June 2020, the message corresponded with a period of widespread public mourning and unrest in Minneapolis following the murder of George Floyd.
