The third annual Rise and Remember festival, organized by the George Floyd Global Memorial, took place at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. This event commemorates the life of George Floyd and the ongoing movement for racial justice. The festival featured various activities and concluded with a performance by hip hop artist Chubb Rock. The square, located at the intersection of Chicago Avenue and East 38th Street, became a focal point for protests and community organizing following Floyd's murder in 2020.
