Comic show at The People’s Way at George Floyd Square
Local comics hold a comedy show at George Floyd Square. Throughout the summer the square was a gathering place not only for the community but for those who came from afar to show their respects after George Floyd was killed on May 25th, 2020.

Speedway Gas on Chicago Avenue
The Speedway gas station at 38th and Chicago. The gas station would later become known as “The People’s Way” and become a gathering place for the community twice a day.
